About Me

The jump appeared and my legs became heavier; as I left the lip my body twisted and I focused on the landing spot. Everything stood still and the feeling of escape was magical. It was my first 540* and I was 14.

My Mom and dad met at a ski mixer so it was inevitable that I romanticized being a professional snowboarder. But the feeling of focus and freedom is what has propelled me through my life following that jump.

I’ve walked at night through wind and rain to photograph a crashed plane in Iceland, summited mount Makushin, an active volcano, on my splitboard (with nothing to eat but dried potato flakes and rice), been abandoned on the Kluane Glacier with a weather window closing when the plane was too heavy to take off, hiked through the Canadian Rockies with everything to survive for weeks on my back, and I have crammed myself into the back of my Subaru for months photographing climbers in Utah, something both my mind and lower back will not forget.

Since going pro in 2014 I have shot campaigns in Ireland, Iceland, USA and Canada for many brands including Sport Chek, Canadian Tire and Red Bull, and I have been published in magazines such as Rock and Ice, and Snowboard Canada and won a Spark R&D photo contest amongst others.

I live in Calgary, at the foot of the rocky mountains where I spend my free time rock climbing in the summers and split boarding in the winters, constantly exploring and chasing after the focus and freedom that comes with each adventure.
